These selfies so delightful
Whenever I strike a pose
It comes out rather frightful
My mother said to me one day
"you know I've always said"
"I'm just not photogenic"
"It isn't in my head"
"But now I wonder," mother said
"if somehow that's not flawed"
"perhaps I'm not as pretty"
"as I thought I was"
I have to say I love this
Her perfect point of view
Except, perhaps, how it applies
To me
